This activity focuses on allowing students to find adaptations in organisms and how they enable survival. In this lab, students will think about what type of environment the organism lives in and what traits it is equipped with to survive in this environment. You can use pictures or real organisms (not provided).

I used specimen jars and kids loved it! Each of the six tables had 4-5 jars and rotated every 3-4 minutes. Students chose one jar to write about at each table.
