When it is listed as smart boards does that include any smart board as promethian board and I save to my flip charts? I'm sure about PPTX either?

I'm not sure about promethian boards, but I did look it up on google earlier, and I'll paste what I found. "I've never worked on a Promethan board, so I can't say with certainty it would work. I just did some quick research about compatibility between the two programs and found this: The majority of our schools have SMART Boards. However, we do have a few schools with Promethean ActivBoards. Promethean ActivBoard software can open and convert Notebook to ActivStudio/ActivInspire as well as Notebook can convert ActivStudio/ActivInspire to Notebook. However, the transfer may lose some of the interactivity and links. Text and images should transfer just fine. You may want to share there is a Promethean Ning with resources at http://prometheaniwbusers.ning.com/forum/topics/promethean-resource... And this also: Smart Notebook lessons are easily converted to Flipcharts for use with Promethean software and Activboard. Open Inspire Click on file > import > Smart Notebook Browse your computer for the file and double click it. Inspire will convert it into a flipchart." If you need the notebook software, you can download a free trial from the smarttech website - www.smarttech.com (under education).
