The problems in this set are from one of the following categories:
*Two-digit addition with & without regrouping
*Three-digit addition with & without regrouping
*Two-digit subtraction with & without regrouping
*Three-digit subtraction with & without regrouping
*Equations with missing numbers
*Addition & subtraction story problems
*Addition & subtraction with money
*The last 10 problems are more difficult including four-digit subtraction and problem solving.
Activity Instructions:
Students walk around the room and complete the questions in any order. Remind them to write the answer for #1 by the #1 on their paper, the #20 answer by the #20 on their paper and so on.
If you want a quicker more collaborative way to do this activity: give each student one of the math questions. They become the expert on this question. When you do around-the-room time, each student takes his/her question with him/her and presents it to the other students who give their answers aloud. Students can also complete this activity individually at a computer. Just view the PDF like a slide show.
Check out the preview to see if this would be a helpful activity for your math class. I love to use these as end of the year activities or standardized test reviews!
