It is designed for students in a college prep biology class or AP biology and covers osmosis, diffusion, fluid mosaic model, active transport and a few examples of osmosis in the body. The words included are: solute, solvent, dissolved, suspended, concentration, diffusion, concentration gradient, permeable, impermeable, selectively permeable, equilibrium, net movement, osmosis, isotonic solution, hypertonic solution, hypotonic solution, turgid, flaccid, plasmolysis, homeostasis, turgor pressure, lipids, bilayer, hydrophilic, hydrophobic, passive transport, active transport, facilitated transport, endocytosis, exocytosis, lysis, fluid mosaic model, alveoli, nephrons, and kidneys.
This would work well for a biology or life science classroom.
