Factoring Perfect Squares
Objectives:
Students will recognize and factor polynomials that are a difference of perfect squares or a product of a binomial squared.
NCTM Standards:
Students will recognize and use connections among mathematical ideas.
California Content Standards:
(11.0) Students apply basic factoring techniques to second-and simple third-degree polynomials. These techniques include recognizing the difference of two squares, and recognizing perfect squares of binomials.
