Setting Up Inequalities
Objectives:
Students will explain how to find one value by using another for which an inequality is known. Students will practice setting some inequalities up and solving them.
NCTM Standards:
Students monitor and reflect on the process of mathematical problem solving.
California Content Standards:
5.0 Students solve multistep problems, including word problems and linear inequalities in one variable, and provide justification for each step.
