This is a collection of all of the assessments I use during chapter one of my Algebra 2 class. I have included my unit and lesson plans in PDF format. They follow the "Learning Focused" model of planning. There are 5 quizzes, a test review, a test(mid chapter) and end of chapter test, several power points I have created to go with the unit, an equations agree/disagree anticipation guide, a solving equations graphic organizer, and all of the years VOCABULARY words in large type for easy printing and displaying on a word wall. I also have my syllabus included here since it is my first unit with the class. I use the Prentice Hall textbook, but use a lot of supplementary materials (whatever I can get my hands on) since the equations section in that chapter is weak (I believe) Feel free to ask any questions you have.

how many lessons are included in the bundle and do you have any more bundles...im looking for 10-15, prefereably a unit plan of 3 weeks

This is a unit plan for 24 days. In my district, we use the learning focused strategies to aid in our planning. One "lesson" may take place over the course of several days. For instance, I spent 9 classroom days on solving linear equations. In that time, I supplemented my written lesson plans with many materials that were available to me at my school. I use the Prentice Hall series, so that was where a lot of my additional resources came from. My intention with this bundle was to collect all of the materials that I created and used during the course of chapter one and offer them to anyone interested. Since I have not had anyone purchase it yet, I will offer it to you for $2.50. What I would ask in return is that if you like it, that you write some comments about how it worked for you. If this interests you, let me know and I will reset the price so that you can make a purchase. This is my first bundle, and planned to make more, but did not see that there was an interest until now.

I am in my sixth year of teaching. My certification is in Math grades 7-12. I began teaching in an IB/Magnet High School in Rochester, NY where I taught Precalculus, Computer Programming, and Math A. After 2 successful years, my family moved to Florida where we could enjoy the sunshine year round. For the past 4 years, I have been teaching in a suburban High School in Florida. In addition to teaching Geometry, Algebra, and AP Calculus AB, I co-chair the math department. I am currently working on my National Board Certification.
