This is an Alegbra expression puzzle. Unlike your tradition puzzle, the pieces are all squares with problems and answers on each of the sides. Students must solve the problems to create a 3 by 3 square.
I used this with my 5th grade students and they enjoyed it. I made the puzzle spell the name of my dog. They were curious since it was something about me and they learned math at the same time. 2 for 1!
