This is a test that covers the concept of slope. Students are expected to be able to write the equation of a line given a slope and y intercept, calculate the slope given two points, calculate the slope of a line given the equation of a line, and graph lines using slope intercept form. They must also identify the graphical representations of positive, negative, undefined and zero slope.
I made this test for my lower level algebra students. A rubric is included for graphing lines.

I am in my sixth year of teaching. My certification is in Math grades 7-12. I began teaching in an IB/Magnet High School in Rochester, NY where I taught Precalculus, Computer Programming, and Math A. After 2 successful years, my family moved to Florida where we could enjoy the sunshine year round. For the past 4 years, I have been teaching in a suburban High School in Florida. In addition to teaching Geometry, Algebra, and AP Calculus AB, I co-chair the math department. I am currently working on my National Board Certification.
