This All About Me book is fun for the students to do and easy for a teacher to administer. It can be used either as a large group teacher directed activity or as an independent assessment. Using basic pencil drawing and cutting techniques, students construct a VERY simple book that is perfect for the beginning of the school year! The sight words can, have, and I are repeated throughout the book as well as the word wonderful. These are the pages included: I am wonderful, I have a wonderful name, I have a wonderful face, I have two wonderful hands, I have a wonderful house, I have a wonderful family, I have a wonderful birthday, I know wonderful colors, I know wonderful shapes, I know the wonderful letters in my name, I have a favorite wonderful fruit, and It will be a wonderful year.
Full color photographs are included that can be used to introduce each page. Students record their favorite colors and graph their favorite fruits.
Students will be able to read the book when they are finished and know that they are wonderful! This is also a great keepsake for parents!
