I love using this unit in class. I begin working on the nonfiction piece the first week of December and then end with The Wild Christmas Reindeer. I love watching the walk home the last day before break clutching their Magic Reindeer Sprinkle!

I am very excited about this unit...having a bit of trouble finding the story The Remarkable Reindeer though. Hopefully our public library has it cause Amazon want 20 bucks for it!

I am so excited to do this with my I/E students. They always see the on-level and challenge groups doing cool projects. This is right up their alley. I bought the science reindeer books from Amazon. Someone had an entire class set for sale. Thank you so much. I would love to see more of these for winter (maybe penguins)! I would definitely buy them.
