This animated PowerPoint teaches everything you need to know about sentences and sentence structure and gives short practice excercises which can immediately be checked. Teaches common core standards. It's interactive. Students can copy what is underlined into their notebooks as well. Each of the thirteen sections with practice and feedback can be a minilesson! I love it. I do something very similar with building a paragraph but many of my students need help with the sentences in their paragraphs - not sure why I didn't think of this myself. Thank you!

I have a total of 21 years teaching experience. After I received my M.Ed. from the University of Florida, I began teaching in elementary school, where I taught pull-out remedial classes for grades 2-5 and a section of K-1. Then I taught Pre-K for 5 years, before I decided to go up to Middle School, where I have been in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I am currently teaching 7th grade where I seem to have found my niche. I am certified in Elementary Education as well as in Middle Grades in the areas of Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I am also certified as a Teacher Support Specialist. I have an endorsement as a Reading Specialist K-12, and I also completed my Gifted and Talented Endorsement.
