I have written this unit so that you will have everything you need to teach a complete unit on verbs.
The first slides are designed for whole class viewing on a smart board or overhead machine, as you teach. You will find there are lessons that go along with the slides as well as practice material and assessments. Soon I will have finished a fun packet of learning games made just to compliment this unit on verbs.
This unit includes slides and lessons on:
*What are verbs?
*Action Verbs
*Helping Verbs
*Linking Verbs
*Present Tense Verbs
*Past Tense Verbs
*Future Tense Verbs
*Irregular Verbs
It also includes:
*2 weeks of lessons
*Engaging teaching as well as practice material after each lesson
*Spelling rules for adding endings to verbs
*thinking map: tree map
*sorting cut and paste activity
*2 worksheets covering these skill

I truly appreciate the efforts of the author. However, unable to view the whole packet on TPT, I gambled that it would be useful working with my 5th graders whose language skills are still emerging. Unfortunately, the packet is too concise/brief and I would have to supplement this packet with extra materials. Again, no complaint with the author or her efforts. Just not what my students with language delays need.
