This package includes a paper for each letter of the alphabet including separate pages for short vowels and long vowels, and 4 digraph pages.
Each page includes the capital and lowercase letter of the alphabet and 9 pictures starting with the target letter.
Words range in length but all begin with the appropriate letter sound. A blank template page are provided so teachers can customize their own pages.
This totals 36 pages that can be used as a quick and easy assessment for preschool, kindergarten, older elementary school, ESL, and special education students.
These can be used to monitor letter-sound correspondence, reading skills, sight words, letter matching/recognition, vocabulary, and encourage word/object relationships.
Students can be given one or more pages and sort the pictures into the appropriate category - this is a great prompt for writing practice as well!
