This is an all-inclusive K-2 activity that can be used in small-group or center activities. In this document you will receive 65 black-and-white and color pages for your early childhood students. The activity is simple, but effective and can be used throughout the year. In small groups or centers, children color and cut out the pictures of each letter in the alphabet. They then paste them inside of a large letter from A-Z provided for you. The children then share with a friend by touching each picture (provided) and word and saying it out loud. They then write as many words as they can from the pictures. This activity promotes:
* Tactile learning
* Group Process
* Sharing
* Understanding of the alphabet
* Fine motor skills
* Verbal Skills
* Phonics through sounding words out and;
* Proper spelling
This is an excellent year-long resource that the kids absolutely love in my class and can be used on bulletin boards or as an assessment!

I did not realize it was a power point so you are not able to print it off because it is all jumbled so I was a little disppointed. I really liked the idea and I was looking for something to cut and paste.
