There is a section located on each of the worksheets for the children to draw and label an additional word belonging with the word group. The brainwork piece asks the children to answer a question about the word relationships. The teacher has the option to omit the brainwork and picture labeling sections when the focus is exclusively for alphabetical order practice. Answer keys, checklists, rubric, alphabet cards, word cards, song resources and a center activity with photographic instructions are supplied. Developmental stages for reference skills are given as well.
