What is Alphaglue?

Alphaglue is a multi-sensory method of teaching alphabetic and language arts principles to enable students to learn concepts in short periods of time and remember them better.

Using principles of recent research in an information-rich environment, educators can teach more effectively and increase retention dramatically.

Using art media and realia to bring letter-imbedded characters to life in activities that focus on listening, speaking letter formation, phonemic awareness and alliteration, letter-sound correspondence, sight words, vocabulary and language development, imagination and creative writing, activities integrate connections in the long-term memory where they are easily accessible to the learner. In Alphaglue, engaging activities come into the curriculum as an integral part of the method.
