"It is not that you don't like reading, it is that you don't like what you are reading." This is a frequent statement directed to my students. Because I truly believe this, we use two to three class periods to find books using this fun internet activity. I then have students write their top three selections on a sticky note and place it in their agenda, which they are required to bring to the library. I use this in conjunction with the student "Reading Survey" product.
