Two American holidays are covered in this fun 20 page writing/art packet!
Activities in the "America Celebrates" packet will allow students to express what they know/learned about these two great holidays.
One activity engages students through time travel. Students will travel back in time to visit with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Presidents George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln. They will report their findings in their own "Travelin' Times" newspaper. Three special editions (color and b/w) are included.
In another activity students will become president and create a stamp to commemorate their own presidency as well as set goals for their first term.
3 neat open-ended foldables are included and are perfect for student notebooks or glue them on construction paper to display.
