At the beginning of each chapter new vocbaulary is introduced, and there are skill builder exercises such as map reading , time and events, graphs and table reading skills. Not only will student develop an understanding of their country's past and important concepts in American history they will also be developing their reading comprehension and recall skills.
The book is in excellent condition, and would be perfect for ELL or Special Ed. students.
