Students will develop a rudimentary knowledge of the three branches of government (including which Article pertains to which branch), the powers of each branch, the relationship between the federal government and the states, and certain amendments.
Students can work either individually or with partners. The 2-day estimate includes time needed to review and discuss.
This is an EXCELLENT foundation for material relating to the Constitution, to which both students and instructor can refer year-round.
The assignment uses a Calibri font and is saved under a Word 97-2003 format. This will allow for whatever changes in formatting or reference pages might be needed.

Around the World in 180 Days (TpT Seller)
No problem! I think the updated version works very well. My own students had an easier time with it than the previous version.
There is also a "student version" of the Constitution that I use in conjunction with the text and this assignment. I will scan that one into the computer and upload it to TpT.
