This is a one-page download that shows small examples of posters you can create for your classroom. There are directions for how to use each included.
I use these posters in my small group discussions. I do not write on the poster, rather I use post-it notes and stick them in the appropriate columns. Many times I give each student one post-it to write his/her comments. It is a great sharing activity.
I have student handout versions of all of these poster ideas so students can work on them in pairs or individually as well. You can find them under "my products" section to download as well.
The four posters are: Making Connections Poster, Anticipation Chart, Text to Text Comparison Chart, and a Cause and Effect (Domino) Chart. All you need is some construction paper and markers!
If you have questions about how to use these tools, please email me for assistance. I would love to help!
