This is an ideal activity for students to complete after studying the Greek city-states. It is a class activity/worksheet that allows students to compare and contrast the ideologies and cultures of ancient Athens and Sparta by looking at twenty-three statements and linking them to either the Athenian or Spartan city-state. It really cements in students' minds the main differences in how these two polis' functioned and lived. Answers provided.
