This is a grade-level license product. Feel free to use among all the teachers on your grade level.

Are you looking for an assessment form that let's you check off 18 Common Core standards in one assessment? Well, this form will do that for you! I have taken the Common Core standards for ELA Writing, Speaking & Listening, and Language and created an anecdotal record sheet for documenting all non-reading standards as a formative assessment. This sheet is for 1st grade only. Other grade levels are linked below. I run a bunch of blank sheets, put them in a 3 ring binder where each student has their own tab. As you perform guided writing, interactive writing, writing conferences, class presentations, group discussions or literature circles, check the standards that the child is able to demonstrate. In the Notes and Observations section, take a short record of your teaching points and compliments, note confusions, tricky spelling patterns and vocabulary (word work). I have also provided two versions of this anecdotal sheet, one with and one without the Rules for Discussion, use either one that suits you.( My Rules for Discussion are also available here in my TpT store.) If you use my Anecdotal Record Sheet for the Common Core Reading Standards (also linked below) you can photocopy *this* Anecdotal Sheet for Writing, Speaking and Language onto the back of that one, and you would have all the Common Core standards for ELA for one student in one place.

The license for this anecdotal record gives permission to use among all teachers on your grade level, therefore this is a grade level license. Please do not distribute, in any format to teachers outside your school or building. Please redirect them to my store. Permission is given to copy for any interventionist that also works with students on your grade level.

Hi! I created the anecdotal record sheets for every grade in reading as to help with informal running records and individual reading conferences. Then I started making them for writing but wasn't selling many of them. You are the first person to ask about it for third grade so I will add it to my To Do List. :-) Jen
