This 25 slide presentation introduces students to the basic life and culture of the Anglo-Saxons.
I use this as the introduction to Beowulf and Anglo Saxon culture my 12th grade British Literature classes.
It contains links to two outside sites. One is the Sutton Hoo site which allows you to browse through the archeological dig. The other link is to a short (less than a minute) video depicting modern warriors fighting in the Anglo Saxon style.

If you use this PowerPoint as a part of a lecture about the Anglo Saxons it should take between 30 and 45 minutes.
