This pack is great to use during your animal "classes" unit! It includes the 6 different animal classifications: mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects.
This pack is divided into 3 "sections"- an attributes section that includes 6 blank idea webs for students to describe each class then 6 webs to give examples, a cut and paste worksheet where students match attributes to the correct classification, and finally, a "guess my classification" game, where students use their thinking skills to figure out the clues!

I just purchased your pack and realized that the sentences in the Guess My Classification cards don't have a capital I at the beginning of them. I realize that this is probably an issue with the font selected, but I'm concerned that it will be confusing to my first grade students. Are you able to send me a version with the i capitalized on page 20 of the packet?

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Hello Teachers! My name is Jillian, and I'm a 2nd grade teacher. I have been teaching 2nd grade for 2 years now. Before that, I've been a tutor, a substitute teacher, and a student myself!
