Save on photocopying but still give early readers and writers support when writing an animal report with these simple guides.
Each sheet has enough guides for three students. Simply cut them into strips and the students glue the strip into the margin of their book as a visual guide to the various sections in an animal report.
Alternatively, you could laminate the strips and students can use them over and over when writing their reports.
These strips can be used with the Powerpoint presentation which introduces the sections of the report, and the visual icons that support students to remember each section.
Matching Animal Report Notes are available for students to access key words for writing about their favourite animals. These note cards also use the same icons.

I think these could be used to create a "step" book about an animal with the icon buttons showing up on the step flap. Thanks again for sharing for free!

The Learning Curve (TpT Seller)
That's a great idea. I'll work on that one. I had actually been thinking about step books a few weeks ago but was going to make one for the lifecycle explanation. It would work really well for the report. I'll post to my blog once I have made one and uploaded it.
