Doing an animal research project? This easy to fold book is a super easy way for students to record their research and create a book at the same time. Students will look at a variety of characteristics of their chosen animal, including where it lives, how it gets around, and the number of eyes and legs.

I currently teach a mixed age class of 3rd and 4th graders at the International School of Morocco. Previously, I have taught 1st grade and 3rd grade, as well as teaching all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia. I have taught both high income and low-income school students, and find that no matter where I teach, most kids need to look at every problem from 12 different angles. Although it is challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.
