This is a project guide and checklist for a final project where the students create a poster comparing animal and plant cells. The checklist guides the students through each step of the project. They first make fact cards for each organelle. And then using the animal and plant cell templates (printed on colored construction paper), the students use various craft objects (such as yarn, beads, sequins, stones, foamies, pasta etc.) to create their animal and plant cell posters.
Comes with checklist guide, animal cell template, plant cell template and key template.
This is a fantastic activity! The kids LOVED it, it reinforced concepts in a hand-on way, and it impressed everyone- especially the parents. Can't thank you enough!
