This is an outline for my grade 4 students to follow as they compile jot notes while researching the poison dart frog, but any animal can be used.
Once students have all their information, they will put their information on a large piece of construction paper folded in half like a booklet. Their cover includes the name of the animal and a picture.
This teaches them research skills, report writing while learning about an animal.
