Are your students used to a multimedia approach to learning? Then this is an awesome way to enrich your Anne Frank unit. The chart gives you the scenes that match the The Diary of Anne Frank to the 1959 Academy Award Winning video of Anne Frank.
You will be able to select and show short movie snippets of the video that have been matched to The Diary of Anne Frank.
The video that is used is the black and white The Diary of Anne Frank video version by George Stevens staring Millie Perkins, Joseph Schildkraut and Shelley Winters. The Book is The Diary of Anne Frank.
We use the clips to reinforce the entries in the diary as we read. The dates of the journal entries (i.e. Friday 8/14/42) are provided as well as the entries for one version of The Dairy. The entry dates can be used with any version of the diary.
