It's the end of the year in Drama and what to do? How about an Annual Awards Day! Have each student nominate each of their classmates for their memorable, funny, and outstanding performances throughout the year. Have them choose from categories such as, Drama King/Queen, Best to Work With, and Funniest Performer, just to name a few. Then, tabulate all the votes and make each student their own Drama Award! I had this take place on the last day of the semester, with the awards on a table at the front of the class, and hosted it like an awards show. Lots of fun, and the students have something tangible to remember your class by! Truly a hit with the students!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Grades Taught:
I have 12 years of teaching grades 7-12 in Dramatic Arts and English. These include applied, academic, and college level courses. Also, I teach a undergrad course in Language Arts at the university level. As well as, I have experience working with EQAO and the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT).
