This is the exam I gave my Calculus students in 2006. If I had it to do over again, I would add some more integration questions. Overall, the exam went well. It is broken down into two parts, 2 sections each and is meant to model the AP exam. The timing is based on two 55 minute sessions.
Topics include:
differentiation
implicit differentiation
integration
Rates of Change
Concavity
Increasing and Decreasing Functions
Curve Sketching

I am in my sixth year of teaching. My certification is in Math grades 7-12. I began teaching in an IB/Magnet High School in Rochester, NY where I taught Precalculus, Computer Programming, and Math A. After 2 successful years, my family moved to Florida where we could enjoy the sunshine year round. For the past 4 years, I have been teaching in a suburban High School in Florida. In addition to teaching Geometry, Algebra, and AP Calculus AB, I co-chair the math department. I am currently working on my National Board Certification.
