A fun way to get students to practice or review any concept in any subject at any grade level--and it particularly lends itself to the study of dystopian or post-apocalyptic novels like The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, The Giver, Pretties, Fahrenheit 451, and more! It's a great activity for test prep and review, holidays, the last day or week of school, or other filler days.

During my first year of teaching, a mentor teacher passed on a great Jeopardy PowerPoint review game template. The menu animations and navigation buttons were all set, and I just had to enter my own questions. I loved it! I used it over and over again until my students had the format memorized. So I started creating my own original PowerPoint review games.
In "Apocalypse," you'll get an endlessly customizable review game filled with fun animations, cool sound effects, and complex menu navigation buttons all based on an end-of-the-world theme. All the hard work is done--you just need to enter your own categories, questions, and answers.
The game has forty-eight possible questions as well as several fun BONUS ROUNDS. It also comes with a detailed teacher's guide for both how to customize the game and how to play it when you are done. The file will come as a .pptx file in a zip folder. NOTE that there is one font you will need to install to get the game to look like the preview pictures, which only takes a few seconds.

I was looking into your "Review anything combo packs" because I think they look GREAT!
I wanted to take a look at one to make sure that I could format it to my needs (i.e. that it is compatible with my school computer and their slightly outdated software)
It states on your "Apocalypse - Customizable PowerPoint Review Game" that you have a free listing entitled "Review Anything - Two Customizable PowerPoint Review Games"
However, when I click the link it no longer works. Did you remove it from your free listings or am I just having a moment of being confused? :)

Sorry about that. I've been revising this set of products, and I forgot to fix those links. If you go back now, the listing has changed. The template that's available for free right now is the "Frankenstein" one (geared for Halloween, but it would at least give you an idea of how the games work and what goes into customizing one.)
The games in Pack One have been revised and they're all set. The games in Pack Two will probably still be going through some revisions in the next few weeks, but then they'll be finalized as well.
