Apple Pie Project I uses the apple pie containers from McDonalds. I bought them at $.06 each from my local McDonalds.
The project is worked in groups of four and there is a rubric at the back of the packet. I would plan for 3 to 4 days.
In Apple Pie Project I, students apply the following concepts:
Perimeter and Area of Irregular Pentagons, Circumference and Area of the Vents, Volume of the Container, and they find the Fraction Decimal Percent Conversion of the letters that show up on the package.
