Crunch! Crunch! This unit is a wonderful way to start off the school year! It has lots of literacy and math activities, as well as science fun! Included in this unit are the following:

- number matching game
- a "rip-art" activity to be compiled into a class book

HI I was looking at your apples literacy and math activities ....I am going to teach PreK next year do you think this is great for beginning of year or is more middle?
Hi! Thanks for the question...I made this unit because I do an apple theme towards the end of September/early October (which is after the first few initial weeks of school). Some of the concepts I have in this unit are: a pocket chart story where the students match word to word/picture, introduction to syllables, bigger than/smaller than activity, a cute story, patterning worksheets and more. You could definitely use these year round - the activities can all easily be modified for your higher/lower students too! Hope this helps! E-mail me at kindergartenteacher@rogers.com if you have any other questions. :)
