Your students will have a blast learning about different cultures around the world using the passport and activities in this pack! Students can "travel" to Ireland, Mexico, Germany, Vietnam, Japan, and Italy to learn more about them.
While learning about each country, I always play music from that country, read books about each one and then fill out the passport pages before leaving and heading to the next! There is also a world map on the last page so students can see where the country is located. Students have so much fun learning about different cultures this way! Just print the passport as is, staple along the left hand side, and cut in half (makes two passports per copy)
Questions on the passport for each country include:
*Which continent is this country located on?
*What are two products from this country?
*Why did immigrants leave this country and come to the United States?
*Who is an American from this country who has contributed to our country? What did he/she contribute?
Also included are: answer keys for each of the pages in the passport, tips for teaching an "Around the World" unit, everything you need to have a "Food Festival" in your classroom at the end of the unit, and a writing activity where students write about their favorite country.
