Students rearrange the order and check their answers to make sure it is the correct order of Taxonomy. Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, and Species. Students get up in the classroom and physically put them in order rather than memorizing.

Before becoming a teacher, I was a substitute teacher as I attended my undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Geneseo. I have been a high school English teacher in New York State for 10 years. My undergraduate work consisted of Secondary Education with Concentration in English and History from SUNY Geneseo. My master's degree concentrated on integrating technology into the curriculum from the University of Phoenix Online. Many of my lessons integrate the use of technology in some way.
