Please go to www.jlhjartisticenterprise.com if you want to get an idea of what the movies are like. File sizes are too big to put on this website.
There are five project demonstrations made to be used in the classroom on this dvd. They are as follows: A crayon resist/watercolor picture of a dog with a wagon; A cut paper picture of a bat flying in front of a big yellow moon; A cut paper picture of a horse inside a fence with fringe grass; A cut paper picture of a hand holding a bouquet of flowers; and A demonstration of various things children can do with Sculpey. I have used these successfully with kindergartners, but they can also be used with first or second graders. They take about two 40 minute class periods to complete if you are doing the project with kinders, but probably less time if you are doing it with first or second grade students. There is a step-by-step demo for drawing the dog, wagon, bat, tree, and horse. When using the drawing demos with students, pause after each step so they can keep up. These movies work great for substitute teachers, as well as in the regular art class.
