TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Trillium Hibbeln has a Master of Elementary Education and a Bachelor Degree in International Relations. Trillium taught 5-12 grade Intensive English as a Second Language at Ruamrudee International School in Bangkok, Thailand and 7th and 8th grade Language Arts at the American School of Asuncion, Paraguay. Trillium is the President and Co-Founder of The Power of Education Foundation, a non-profit organization (www.powerofeducationfoundation.org) whose mission is to build schools and literacy programs in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. She and a group of educators are creating interactive Powerpoint Lesson Plans to raise awareness among children about important issues in impoverished countries. All sales of Lesson Plans support direct education based programming in Haiti. Trillium and her husband, Michael, an elementary principal have two children, Lucas, age 10 and Sofina, age 8. She currently resides in Milan, Italy and Rockford, Michigan.
