If you have powerpoint, it should open. However, some older versions of powerpoint might have trouble opening. If that is the case, let me know, and I can email you with a PDF version of the PPT... all computers/programs can open a PDF, but the only downside is that you can't make changes, so finding a computer that can open powerpoint is the best bet. j_elitzin@yahoo.com

No, this powerpoint only covers Timbuktu. Afterward, I had students create their own "Griot Game" based on the categories in the powerpoint (history, economics, etc). I wonder if you could include Ghana and Songhai into a project of that sort.
