Asking AND Telling - Using the same words to create two very different sentences!!
This unique sentence scramble activity will challenge your students to think about punctuation, capitalization, word order and sentence type.
Each of the eight scrambled sentences can become a telling and an asking sentence. A recording sheet is included. Check out the preview to learn more!
A mini-anchor chart is included to introduce the activity. It can then become an independent literacy work station. For students who need a little extra help, I suggest introducing this activity on a pocket chart by printing the sentences on sentence strips.

I like this because it teaches a very important skill. I was just a bit disapoointed in the answer recording sheet. Would have liked to see more space to record answers. At this point in the year our second graders have a difficult time writing on narrow lines. However I am still happy to have purchaed this product, thank you!
