Assess Me! Back to School Assessments for Kindergarten and First Graders!

SELLER
Some of the students coming into our kindergarten and first grade classrooms this fall are well prepared and ready to learn, while some, sadly are not. The sooner we know what each child is ready to learn, the sooner we can start our small groups, and the better off our students will be!
Pages 4-11 in this packet are one on one assessments, for the child and the teacher, a teacher assistant, or parent volunteer. Pages12-16 are for the children to begin on their own with an adult helping finish up as needed. You can also pace the assessments as you like. I like to do pages 4-11 at one sitting with a child, but you can also do a little each day. Whatever works best for you.
After I use the assessment information to make my small groups, I put each child’s assessments together in a booklet. I like to review them with the parents at parent teacher conferences. I have included a cute cover to make it complete! Don’t forget to copy the completed assessments if you want to keep a copy because I assure you the parents will want to take these home!
