This lesson is an introductory lesson for grades 1-3 on using an atlas and maps. The lesson contains interactives for teaching key words related to the atlas. In addition, the lesson also contains an outline for a globe that you can use for an assessment activity at the end of the lesson. The preview lesson is a sample of the key words and activities of the lesson but the interactives are password protected and cannot be changed. I would have liked to have a worksheet to go with it. How do the children record the information? Also, instructions are a little vague. I thought when I purchased it I would have more directions. However, it is a neat project that is appropriate for my grade 3 students.
