This is a good powerpoint for an introductory class of physical science or middle school science. It describes the parts of an atom, the 1st four orbitals, and how to determine the number of protons, nuetrons, and electrons. The powerpoint is animated to give small bits at each click of the mouse. The demo will give you an idea of how it works.
This is my 10th year teaching and have recently been part of a new 9th grade academy. I have taught biology, chemistry, integrated science, and Physical science.
