This resource contains 20 curriculum related prompts for students to respond to each morning as the teachers handles attendance, etc. Math, spelling, grammar and creative writing prompts are easily handled by students, and then their work can be taken up together once the teacher is ready. This is the American version of my prompts; a Canadian version is also available.

Join the collaborative pinterest groups that have been established through TPT; go into the Search Function in the forums and look for "Collaborative Pinterest Boards" to see if there are any groups you would like to join. Coach's Corner (TpT Seller)
I hope you find it useful this month. It doesn't take long for the kids to figure out what they're supposed to do, and then it's great because they automatically get out their bell work and start it without me saying anything. I also like doing bell work this way because I know that I am regularly reviewing a wide variety of skills, so that I don't panic at testing times. Have a great start to your year!
