Author's Purpose is one of my favorite comprehension strategies to teach! This packet is great to use with cooperative groups.
This mini-packet includes 4 posters to display using the PIE method for teaching author's purpose, an activity to use with cooperative groups throughout your unit, an excellent printable for students to use to identify the author's purpose of a story, and a brown bag template for a book club discussion. I had students tell me how much fun they had at the end of the activities, so it definitely will keep them engaged!

I don't have a question. But I am so excited to find someone on TPT that is so close to my own school. I live in Milton, Tennessee. I work at Lascassas Elementary in second grade. :) I am going to love buying all your cool stuff since we are teaching basically the same thing each week. I do have one question. I am in a mood to organize in fact I am pretty OCD about my classroom being organzied. Can you tell me how you organize all of your stuff especially your files.
