This is a lesson that is designed to teach students how to establish an author's purpose for writing. All of the files are alterable.

The .zip folder includes:

1. MS Word and .pdf graphic organizers.

2. A short excerpt from a Frederick Douglas piece, where questions are embedded into the text.
