This unit will be great to use during any of the fall months. It contains beautiful fall colors using leaves, pumpkins, sunflowers, and scarecrows! There is no clip-art based on Thanksgiving included in this unit.

Harvesting Compound Words
Students will match up parts of a sunflower to create a compound word.

Scarecrow Contractions
Students will match a contraction to the two words that creates it.

Fallin’ Nouns
Students will sort nouns based on if they are common or proper.

Owl Syllables
Students will whisper read each word out loud and sort the words based on syllables.

Rakin’ Antonyms
Students will match up pairs of antonyms.

Best Friends Synonyms
Students will match up pairs of synonyms.

Mixed Up Sentences
Students will unscramble cards to create a sentence.

Fall into Order ABC Order
Students will put words into ABC Order.
