Thank you for taking a look at my BUG centers! You might not like real bugs.. but these sweet, precious bugs will make you smile!
Here is what is included:

{1} Compound Word Match: 18 compound word match cards. A recording sheet is included. The recording sheet has a place for students to pick 4 of the compound words and write them in ABC order and illustrate.

{2} 4 Digit Number Word: Read the number word and make the number using the provided number cards. A recording sheet is also available for students to write the number that is on each card. There are 10 number word cards and plenty of number cards to make the 4 digit numbers.
**These number cards will be an awesome resources to use for other center/pocket chart activities!

{3} Ending Punctuation Sort: Sort the 15 sentences into the correct ending punctuation category. Students will read the sentences and decide if the sentence needs a period, question mark or exclamation point. A recording sheet is available for students to circle the ending punctuation after they sentences are sorted. Header cards that say: period, question mark, and exclamation point are also included.

{4} Math Fact Sort: Students will sort the 24 math fact under the correct answer. This activity includes addition and subtraction. The math facts are sorted into groups where the answer will be 6, 8, 10 or 12. Header cards with these numbers are included. Students can pile or line the math facts under the correct header. A recording sheet is also included with the same math facts. This would make an excellent follow up activity to the math fact sort or as an early finisher activity.

{5} Fill in the missing numbers by 2's: Each card has 3 numbers a missing number. Students fill in the missing number on their recording sheet to tell which number is missing on each card. There are 18 missing number cards. The numbers range from 2-200.
For example: 56 58 __ 62. Students will write the number 60 on the recording sheet to show that is the missing number.

These are great math and language centers. They will also work great in a pocket chart {but not required}.

I love the directed drawings. Can you tell me more about this? I am really interested in getting my kids to become better artist. I did 1 drawing and my kids absolutely love it. I am a terrible drawer so I can not make them up on my own. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks Jenni

Hello! I saw on your blog that you had a super cute Cat in the Hat Mini unit, but I am not seeing it on this website. Is it still available?

Do you think you could add a title page with the directions for each section? I can do one, but it would be so cute with your graphics. As I mentioned earlier, then the students could see what the activity is and what they need to do without me. Thanks

I just purchased the BUGS unit and love it. I have one suggestion--I would like to see a title page for each part (maybe directions on it, too, for the students). When I put the different activities in a ziplock bag then they would be able to see what item they are doing. Just an idea. Thanks!
